हीनांगानतिरिक्तांगान्‌ विद्याहीनान्‌ विगर्हितान्‌ | रूपद्रविणहीनांश्व सत्त्वहीनांश्व नाक्षिपेत्‌

Transliteration

hīnāṅgān atiriktāṅgān vidyāhīnān vigarhitān | rūpa-draviṇa-hīnānś ca sattva-hīnānś ca nākṣipet ||

Translation

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಅಂಗವೈಕಲ್ಯವಿರುವವರನ್ನು, ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಅಂಗವಿರುವವರನ್ನು, ವಿದ್ಯಾಹೀನರನ್ನು, ನಿಂದಿತರನ್ನು, ರೂಪ-ಧನರಹಿತರನ್ನು, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಬಲ-ಧೈರ್ಯರಹಿತರನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸುವುದು ಯುಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲ.
