वाजिनां श्यामकर्णानां हरितानां पितामह । प्रादां हेमस्रजां ब्रह्मन्‌ कोटीर्दश च सप्त च

Transliteration

vājināṁ śyāmakarṇānāṁ haritānāṁ pitāmaha | prādāṁ hemasrajāṁ brahman koṭīr daśa ca sapta ca ||

Translation

ಭಗೀರಥನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ಪಿತಾಮಹನೇ! ಕಪ್ಪು ಕಿವಿಗಳಿರುವ, ಹಸಿರು ಛಾಯೆಯ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ದಾನಮಾಡಿದೆನು; ಓ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನೇ! ಚಿನ್ನದ ಹಾರಗಳ ಹತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಏಳು—ಅಂದರೆ ಹದಿನೇಳು—ಕೋಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೀಡಿದೆನು।
