उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel
सांख्ये चैव परा प्रीतिस्तस्य चैवं व्यवर्धत । वे ऋषि वेद और अथर्ववेदके परिनिष्छित विद्वान् हो गये। कल्पप्रयोग और ज्योतिषयमें भी पारंगत हुए। सांख्यमें भी उनका परम अनुराग बढ़ने लगा
sāṅkhye caiva parā prītis tasya caivaṃ vyavardhata |
ಸಾಂಖ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಪರಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅದು ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಯಿತು. ವೇದ, ವೇದಾಂಗ ಮತ್ತು ಅಥರ್ವವೇದದ ನಿರ್ಣಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಋಷಿ ಪಂಡಿತನಾಗಿ ಪರಿನಿಷ್ಠಿತನಾದನು; ಕಲ್ಪಪ್ರಯೋಗ ಮತ್ತು ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪಾರಂಗತನಾದನು; ಸಾಂಖ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಪರಮ ಅನುರಾಗ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಲೇ ಹೋಯಿತು।
