Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
श्रियस्तु भाग: संजज्ञे रत्यर्थ पृथिवीतले । भीष्मकस्य कुले साध्वी रुक्मिणी नाम नामत:
śriyastu bhāgaḥ saṃjajñe ratyarthaṃ pṛthivītale | bhīṣmakasya kule sādhvī rukmiṇī nāma nāmataḥ ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಭೂತಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೋಕಾನಂದಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ (ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ)ಯ ಒಂದು ಅಂಶ ಜನ್ಮಿಸಿತು; ಅದು ವಿದರ್ಭರಾಜ ಭೀಷ್ಮಕನ ಕುಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತಿ-ಸಾಧ್ವಿ ರುಕ್ಮಿಣಿ ಎಂಬ ನಾಮದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾದುರ್ಭವಿಸಿತು.
