Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
संवर्धमानो बलवान् स्वस्त्रिषूत्तमो5भवत् | वेदाड़ानि च सर्वाणि जजाप जयतां वर:
saṃvardhamāno balavān svastriṣūttamo 'bhavat | vedāṅgāni ca sarvāṇi jajāpa jayatāṃ varaḥ ||
ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಅವನು ಬಲವಂತನಾಗಿ, ತನ್ನ ಅಸ್ತ್ರಶಸ್ತ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನಾದನು. ಜಯಶೀಲರಲ್ಲಿ ವರನಾದ ಆ ವೀರನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವೇದಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜಪಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಿದನು।
