Duḥṣantasya Vana-praveśaḥ
King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
येन देश: स सर्वस्तु तमोभूत इवाभवत् । दृष्टवा सृष्ट तु नीहारं ततस्तं परमर्षिणा
yena deśaḥ sa sarvas tu tamobhūta ivābhavat | dṛṣṭvā sṛṣṭaṃ tu nīhāraṃ tatas taṃ paramarṣiṇā ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಆ ಮಂಜಿನ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶವು ಕತ್ತಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗಿದಂತೆ ಆಯಿತು. ನಂತರ, ಆ ಪರಮರ್ಷಿಯೇ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಮಂಜನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅವರು ಕಾರಣವನ್ನು ಅರಿತುಕೊಂಡರು.
