Duḥṣantasya Vana-praveśaḥ
King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
पुष्पसंछन्नशाखाग्रं पललवैरुपशोभितम् । अशोकं स्तबकैश्छन्न॑ं रमणीयमपश्यत
puṣpasaṃchannaśākhāgraṃ pallavair upaśobhitam | aśokaṃ stabakaiś channaṃ ramaṇīyam apaśyata ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಅವರು ಒಂದು ಮನೋಹರ ಅಶೋಕವೃಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಕಂಡರು; ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳ ತುದಿಗಳು ಹೂಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದವು, ಹೊಸ ಪಲ್ಲವಗಳಿಂದ ಶೋಭಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು, ಮತ್ತು ಗುಚ್ಛಗುಚ್ಛ ಹೂಗಳಿಂದ ದಟ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಆವೃತವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
