अर्जुनस्य लक्ष्यवेधः
Arjuna’s Hitting of the Target at the Svayaṃvara
निखातं यच्च वै वित्तं केनचिद् भृगुवेश्मनि । वैरायैव तदा न्यस्तं क्षत्रियान् कोपयिष्णुभि:
nikhātaṃ yac ca vai vittaṃ kenacid bhṛguveśmani | vairāyaiva tadā nyastaṃ kṣatriyān kopayiṣṇubhiḥ ||
ಭೃಗು ವಂಶೀಯನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೋ ಹೂತಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಧನವೂ ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇವಲ ವೈರವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು—ಕ್ಷತ್ರಿಯರನ್ನು ಕೋಪಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಬಯಸಿದವರಿಂದ.
