तमालोक्य धनुस्त्यक्त्वा पितृगौरवयन्त्रित: । कर्णोडभिषेकार्दशिरा: शिरसा समवन्दत
Translation
ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಪಿತೃಗೌರವದಿಂದ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿತನಾದ ಕರ್ಣನು ಧನುಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇಳಿದನು. ಅಭಿಷೇಕಜಲದಿಂದ ತೋಯ್ದ ಶಿರಸ್ಸಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ತಲೆಬಾಗಿ ಅಧಿರಥನಿಗೆ ವಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು.
