पोथयन्तं महाबाहुं त्वं वै तं ज्ञातुमरहसि । “वह हमलोगोंके पास बेहोशीकी हालतमें आया था
vaishampāyana uvāca | pothayantaṃ mahābāhuṃ tvaṃ vai taṃ jñātum arhasi | “sa hy asmākaṃ samīpaṃ mūrcchitaḥ samāgataḥ, kintu asmābhiḥ daṣṭaḥ san prabuddho bhūtvā saṃjñāṃ prāptaḥ | saṃjñāṃ prāpya tu sa mahābāhuḥ sarvān bandhanān śīghraṃ bhittvā asmān parājayituṃ pravṛttaḥ | tvaṃ gatvā taṃ parijānīhi”
ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಕೆಡವುತ್ತಿರುವ ಆ ಮಹಾಬಾಹುವನ್ನು ನೀನು ಗುರುತಿಸಲೇಬೇಕು. ಅವನು ಮೂರ್ಚ್ಛಿತನಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ; ಆದರೆ ನಾವು ಕಚ್ಚಿದಾಗ ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಂಡು ಸಜ್ಜನನಾದ. ಸಜ್ಜನನಾದ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಆ ಬಲವಂತನು ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಬಂಧನಗಳನ್ನು ಬೇಗನೆ ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕಿ ಈಗ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸು।
