शतमेकोत्तरं तेषां कुमाराणां महौजसाम् | एक एव निगृह्नाति नातिकृच्छाद् वृकोदर:
śatam ekottaraṃ teṣāṃ kumārāṇāṃ mahaujasām | eka eva nigṛhṇāti nātikṛcchād vṛkodaraḥ ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ರಾಜನೇ! ಆ ಮಹಾಬಲಶಾಲಿ ಕುಮಾರರು ನೂರೊಂದು ಮಂದಿ ಇದ್ದರು; ಆದರೂ ವೃಕೋದರ ಭೀಮನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಕಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
