Droṇa–Drupada Saṃvāda and Droṇa’s Reception at the Kuru Court
A child obtained through Dharma—i.e., through righteous means and under the aegis of the Dharma-deity—is expected to embody ethical steadiness: his mind will not be drawn toward adharma.
Vaiśampāyana reassures that the son to be obtained through invoking Dharma will be exceptionally righteous among the Kurus, emphasizing the moral legitimacy and ethical outcome of the act.
