व्युषिताश्वे यशोवृद्धे मनुष्येन्द्रे कुरूत्तम । व्युषिताश्व: समुद्रान्तां विजित्येमां वसुंधराम्
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
vyuṣitāśve yaśovṛddhe manuṣyendre kurūttama |
vyuṣitāśvaḥ samudrāntāṁ vijityemāṁ vasuṁdharām |
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಕುರೂತ್ತಮನೇ! ಕೀರ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದ ಆ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ವ್ಯುಷಿತಾಶ್ವನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಪುರಾಣವೇತ್ತರಾದ ಪಂಡಿತರು ಈ ಯಶೋಗಾಥೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ—“ಸಮುದ್ರಾಂತವಾದ ಈ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಿ, ತಂದೆ ತನ್ನ ಔರಸ ಪುತ್ರರನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸುವಂತೆ, ರಾಜ ವ್ಯುಷಿತಾಶ್ವನು ಎಲ್ಲ ವರ್ಣಗಳ ಪ್ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ಸಮವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಪೋಷಿಸಿದನು.”
