The Birth of Kṛpa and Kṛpī; Kṛpa’s Attainment of Astras
पितृदेवर्षिमनुजैददेयं तेभ्यश्व धर्मत: । एतानि तु यथाकालं यो न बुध्यति मानव:
Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca: pitṛ-devarṣi-manujaiḥ dade yaṃ tebhyaś ca dharmataḥ | etāni tu yathākālaṃ yo na budhyati mānavaḥ ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದರು— ಧರ್ಮಾನುಸಾರ ಪಿತೃಗಳು, ದೇವರುಗಳು, ಋಷಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವರು—ಇವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾದುದನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪದೇ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕು. ಆದರೆ ಯಥಾಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಿಯದವನಿಗೆ ಪುಣ್ಯಲೋಕಗಳು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ದೊರೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
