अध्याय ९६: शरभ-प्रादुर्भावः, नृसिंह-दर्पशमनम्, विष्णोः शिवस्तुतिः, फलश्रुति
पठेत्प्रतिष्ठाकालेषु शिवसन्निधिकारणम् चोरव्याघ्राहिसिंहान्तकृतो राजभयेषु च
paṭhetpratiṣṭhākāleṣu śivasannidhikāraṇam coravyāghrāhisiṃhāntakṛto rājabhayeṣu ca
ಲಿಂಗಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಪಠಿಸಬೇಕು; ಇದು ಶಿವಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಕಳ್ಳರು, ಹುಲಿಗಳು, ಹಾವುಗಳು, ಸಿಂಹಗಳು, ಮರಣಸಂಬಂಧಿ ಅಪಾಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜಭಯಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಇದು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
