उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः
एवं लब्ध्वा शिवं ज्ञानं ज्ञात्वा जपविधिक्रमम्
evaṃ labdhvā śivaṃ jñānaṃ jñātvā japavidhikramam
ಈ ರೀತಿ ಶಿವಸಂಬಂಧಿಯಾದ ಮಂಗಳ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು, ಜಪದ ವಿಧಿ-ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಸಮ್ಯಕವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದು ಸಾಧಕನು ಮಂತ್ರಸಾಧನೆಯ ನಿಯಮಿತ ಅನುಶಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೃತ್ತನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆಗ ಪಶು ಪತಿ ಶಿವನ ಕೃಪೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
