Adhyaya 73 — त्रिपुरदाहे ब्रह्मस्तवः
Brahmā’s Hymn in the Context of Tripura’s Burning
tasmāt sampūjayelliṅgaṃ ya icchetsiddhimātmanaḥ sarve liṅgārcanādeva devā daityāś ca dānavāḥ
Suta Goswami (narrating the teaching to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It presents Liṅga-arcana as the primary means for attaining siddhi—spiritual fulfillment for the pāśu (individual soul) and even worldly attainments for powerful beings like Devas and Asuras.
By implying that all classes of beings gain their powers through Liṅga worship, it points to Shiva as Pati—the supreme source behind all capacities—while the soul (pāśu) progresses by approaching Him through devotion and ritual reverence.
Sampūjana (complete worship) of the Shiva Liṅga is emphasized as the core sādhanā; in Shaiva Siddhānta terms, it supports purification of pāśa (bondage) and steadies the practitioner toward higher realization and siddhi.
