Adhyaya 73 — त्रिपुरदाहे ब्रह्मस्तवः
Brahmā’s Hymn in the Context of Tripura’s Burning
Sūta (narrating the purāṇic teaching; verse framed as a blessing/assurance within the narrative)
It emphasizes smaraṇa (remembrance) of Bhava as an inner form of worship that draws Śiva’s anugraha, turning the pashu away from duḥkha and toward auspicious fruition.
Śiva is implied as Pati—Bhava—whose grace dissolves sorrow (a mark of pasha) and bestows auspicious states; remembrance aligns the soul with that grace.
Bhava-saṃsmaraṇa (constant recollection of Śiva), a bhakti-infused yogic discipline akin to Pāśupata orientation—inner fixation on Pati that weakens bondage.
