यदुवंश-प्रवचनम्: हैहय-क्रोष्टु-वंशविस्तारः (कृतवीर्यार्जुनादि, ज्यामघ-विदर्भ-शात्वत-पर्यन्तम्)

अथ भीमरथस्यासीत् पुत्रो नवरथः किल दानधर्मरतो नित्यं सत्यशीलपरायणः

atha bhīmarathasyāsīt putro navarathaḥ kila dānadharmarato nityaṃ satyaśīlaparāyaṇaḥ

ನಂತರ ಭೀಮರಥನಿಗೆ ನವರಥನೆಂಬ ಪುತ್ರನಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ನಿತ್ಯ ದಾನಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ರತನಾಗಿ, ಸತ್ಯಶೀಲತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸದಾಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
