सुलालितं भूषणैः पुत्रमित्रं न लालितं सर्वपापापहारि / न भुक्तं वै हरिनैरवेद्यशेषं मित्रालये षड्रसान्नं च भुक्तम्

ಪುತ್ರಮಿತ್ರರನ್ನು ಆಭರಣಗಳೂ ಸೌಖ್ಯಗಳೂ ನೀಡಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಲಾಲಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಆದರೆ ಸರ್ವಪಾಪಾಪಹಾರಿಯಾದ ಭಗವಂತನನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹರಿಯ ನೈವೇದ್ಯಶೇಷ ಪ್ರಸಾದವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನದೆ, ಮಿತ್ರರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಷಡ್ರಸ ಅನ್ನವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತೇವೆ।
