एवमुग्रश्रवा: पृष्ट ऋषिभिर्नैमिषायनै: । भगवत्यर्पिताध्यात्मस्तानाह श्रूयतामिति ॥ ७ ॥
evam ugraśravāḥ pṛṣṭa ṛṣibhir naimiṣāyanaiḥ bhagavaty arpitādhyātmas tān āha śrūyatām iti
ನೈಮಿಷಾರಣ್ಯದ ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳು ಹೀಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, ರೋಮಹರ್ಷಣನ ಪುತ್ರ ಉಗ್ರಶ್ರವಾ ಸೂತ ಗೋಸ್ವಾಮೀ—ಭಗವಂತನ ದಿವ್ಯ ಲೀಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದವನು—ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು: ನಾನು ಈಗ ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ।
