Indra’s Brahma-hatyā, Flight from Sin, and Purification by Aśvamedha
ब्रह्महा पितृहा गोघ्नो मातृहाचार्यहाघवान् । श्वाद: पुल्कसको वापि शुद्ध्येरन् यस्य कीर्तनात् ॥ ८ ॥ तमश्वमेधेन महामखेन श्रद्धान्वितोऽस्माभिरनुष्ठितेन । हत्वापि सब्रह्मचराचरं त्वं न लिप्यसे किं खलनिग्रहेण ॥ ९ ॥
brahma-hā pitṛ-hā go-ghno mātṛ-hācārya-hāghavān śvādaḥ pulkasako vāpi śuddhyeran yasya kīrtanāt
ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ, ಹಸು, ತಂದೆ, ತಾಯಿ ಅಥವಾ ಗುರುವನ್ನು ಕೊಂದವನು ಭಗವಾನ್ ನಾರಾಯಣನ ಪವಿತ್ರ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಜಪಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಕ್ತನಾಗಬಹುದು. ಚಂಡಾಲರಂತಹ ಇತರ ಪಾಪಿಗಳು ಕೂಡ ಈ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಕ್ತರಾಗಬಹುದು. ನಾವು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಮಹಾನ್ ಅಶ್ವಮೇಧ ಯಾಗವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ನೀವು ಆ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾರಾಯಣನನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದರೆ, ನೀವು ಏಕೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಕು?
