न स्तुवीत न निन्देत कुर्वत: साध्वसाधु वा । वदतो गुणदोषाभ्यां वर्जित: समदृङ्मुनि: ॥ १६ ॥
na stuvīta na nindeta kurvataḥ sādhv asādhu vā vadato guṇa-doṣābhyāṁ varjitaḥ sama-dṛṅ muniḥ
ಸಮದೃಷ್ಟಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಮುನಿ ಇತರರು ಸತ್ಕರ್ಮ ಅಥವಾ ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನೂ, ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಥವಾ ತಪ್ಪಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿದರೂ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಹೊಗಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ದೂಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಗುಣ-ದೋಷಗಳ ದ್ವಂದ್ವದಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅಪ್ರಭಾವಿತನಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
