इति प्रियं हितं वाक्यं भुव आदाय भूपति: । वत्सं कृत्वा मनुं पाणावदुहत्सकलौषधी: ॥ १२ ॥

Transliteration

iti priyaṁ hitaṁ vākyaṁ bhuva ādāya bhūpatiḥ vatsaṁ kṛtvā manuṁ pāṇāv aduhat sakalauṣadhīḥ

Translation

ಭೂಮಿಯ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿತಕರ ವಚನವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ರಾಜನು ಅದನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿದನು. ನಂತರ ಸ್ವಾಯಂಭುವ ಮನುನನ್ನು ಕರುವಾಗಿಸಿ, ಭೂಮಿ-ಗೋವಿನಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳ ಅಂಜಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಔಷಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಧಾನ್ಯವನ್ನು ದೋಹಿಸಿದನು.
