तव त्यदिन्द्रियं बृहत् तव शुष्ममुत क्रतुम्। वज्रं शिशाति धिषणा वरेण्यम्

IAST Transliteration

táva tyád indriyáṃ bṛhát táva śúṣmam utá krátum | vájraṃ śiśāti dhiṣáṇā varéṇyam

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Thine is that mighty Indra-power, thine the impetuous strength and the resolve: Inspiration whets for thee the choice thunderbolt.

Translation

ಹೇ ಇಂದ್ರ, ಆ ಮಹತ್ತಾದ ಇಂದ್ರಿಯ-ಶಕ್ತಿ ನಿನ್ನದೇ; ನಿನ್ನದೇ ಶುಷ್ಮ (ಉಗ್ರ ಬಲ) ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರತು (ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ-ಬುದ್ಧಿ). ಧಿಷಣಾ ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ವರಣೀಯ ವಜ್ರವನ್ನು ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
