वृकश्चिदस्य वारण उरामथिरा वयुनेषु भूषति । सेमं नः स्तोमं जुजुषाण आ गहीन्द्र प्र चित्रया धिया

IAST Transliteration

vṛ́kaś cid asya vāraṇá urā́mathirā́ vayúneṣu bhūṣati | sémáṃ naḥ stómaṃ jujuṣāṇá ā́ gahī́ndra prá citráyā dhiyā́

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Even the wolf of him is a repeller; the strong-stirrers shine in their devices. Accepting this our hymn of praise, come hither, O Indra, with brilliant thought.

Translation

ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಾರುಣ (ವಾರಣ)—ತಡೆಯುವವನು—ಎಂಬುದು, ವೃಕ (ತೋಳ/ನರಿ) ಸಹ ಆಗಿದೆ; ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಪ್ರೇರಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಯುಕ್ತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಈ ಸ್ತೋಮವನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿ, ಹೇ ಇಂದ್ರ, ಚಿತ್ರ (ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ) ಧಿಯೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾ.
