आ पप्राथ महिना वृष्ण्या वृषन् विश्वा शविष्ठ शवसा । अस्मां अव मघवन् गोमति व्रजे वज्रिं चित्राभिरूतिभिः

IAST Transliteration

ā́ paprātha mahínā vṛ́ṣṇyā vṛṣán víśvā śaviṣṭha śávāsā | asmā́n áva maghavan gómati vrajé vajrin citrā́bhir ūtíbhih

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Thou hast spread abroad, by greatness and by manly vigor, O Bull, all things with strength, O mightiest: do thou protect us, O bounteous one, in the cattle-rich fold, O Vajrin, with thy wondrous helps.

Translation

ಓ ವೃಷಭನೇ! ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಪುರುಷಾರ್ಥಮಯ ವೃಷ್ಣ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ, ಓ ಅತಿಶವಿಷ್ಠನೇ, ನೀನು ಶವಸಿನಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ವ್ಯಾಪಕವಾಗಿ ಹರಡಿದ್ದೀ. ಓ ಮಘವನ್, ಗೋಸಂಪನ್ನ ವ್ರಜದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡು; ಓ ವಜ್ರಿನ್, ನಿನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ರ (ಅದ್ಭುತ) ಊತಿಗಳಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು.
