चतुर्होतार आप्रियश्चातुर्मास्यानि नीविदः । उच्छिष्टे यज्ञाः होत्राः पशुबन्धास्तदिष्टयः

IAST Transliteration

catúrhotāra āpríyaś cāturmāsyā́ni nivídaḥ | ucchiṣṭé yajñā́ hotrā́ḥ paśubandhā́s tád iṣṭáyaḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

The four Hotṛs, the Āprī verses, the Cāturmāsya rites, the Nivid formulas—in Ucchiṣṭa are the sacrifices, the Hotṛ-offerings, the Paśubandhas, those Iṣṭis.

Translation

ನಾಲ್ಕು ಹೋತಾರರು, ಆಪ್ರಿ ಮಂತ್ರಗಳು, ಚಾತುರ್ಮಾಸ್ಯ ಕರ್ಮಗಳು, ನಿವಿದ್ ಸೂತ್ರಗಳು—ಉಚ್ಛಿಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳು, ಹೋತ್ರಾ-ಆಹುತಿಗಳು, ಪಶುಬಂಧಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಆ ಇಷ್ಟಿಗಳು (ಯಜ್ಞವಿಧಿಗಳು) ಸ್ಥಿತವಾಗಿವೆ.
