यमबध्नाद् बृहस्पतिर्देवेभ्यो असुरक्षितिम्। स मायं मणिरागमन्मधोर्घृतस्य धारया कीलालेन मणिः सह

IAST Transliteration

yám abadʰnād bṛ́haspátir devébhyo ásura-kṣitim | sá māyáṃ maṇír ā́gaman mádʰor gʰṛtásya dʰā́rayā kīlā́lena maṇíḥ sahá ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Whom Bṛhaspati bound on for the Gods, (to win) the Asura’s stronghold—this Jewel came hither with its wondrous power, with honey, with a stream of ghee, together with kīlāla, the Jewel (itself) accompanying.

Translation

ಯಾರನ್ನು ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿಯು ದೇವರಿಗಾಗಿ (ಅಸುರರ) ದುರ್ಗ-ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಲು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದನೋ—ಆ ಮಾಯಾಶಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಮಣಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದನು; ಮಧು (ಜೇನು) ಸಹಿತ, ಘೃತದ ಧಾರೆ/ಪ್ರವಾಹ ಸಹಿತ, ಕೀಲಾಲ (kīlāla) ಸಹಿತ—ಮಣಿಯೇ ಸಹಚರನಾಗಿ ಜೊತೆಯಾಯಿತು.
