Sutra 16

प्रतिपन्नं राजा रहसि पूजयेत्प्राप्तयौवराज्यकालं त्वां महामात्रभयान्नाभिषिञ्चामि इति ॥ कZ_०५.१.१६ ॥

pratipannaṃ rājā rahasi pūjayet prāptayauvarājyakālaṃ tvāṃ mahāmātrabhayān nābhiṣiñcāmi iti.

ರಾಜನು ಹಕ್ಕುದಾರನನ್ನು ಗುಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿ (ತನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸೆಳೆಯಬೇಕು), ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು: “ಯುವರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡುವ ಕಾಲ ಬಂದಿದೆ; ಆದರೆ ಮಹಾಮಾತ್ರರ ಭಯದಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಭಿಷೇಕವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.”
