तस्मादायुरभूत्तस्मान् नहुषो ऽतो ययातिकः यदुञ्च तुर्वसुन्तस्माद् देवयानी व्यजायत
tasmādāyurabhūttasmān nahuṣo 'to yayātikaḥ yaduñca turvasuntasmād devayānī vyajāyata
ಪುರೂರವದಿಂದ ಆಯು, ಆಯುವಿನಿಂದ ನಹುಷ, ನಹುಷನಿಂದ ಯಯಾತಿ ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ಯಯಾತಿಯಿಂದ ಯದು ಮತ್ತು ತುರ್ವಸು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು; ಯಯಾತಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ದೇವಯಾನಿಯೂ ಜನ್ಮವಾಯಿತು.
