वेदव्यास-परम्परा तथा प्रणव-ब्रह्म-स्तुति
ऋक्षो ऽभूद् भार्गवस् तस्माद् वाल्मीकिर् यो ऽभिधीयते तस्माद् अस्मत्पिता शक्तिर् व्यासस् तस्माद् अहं मुने
ṛkṣo 'bhūd bhārgavas tasmād vālmīkir yo 'bhidhīyate tasmād asmatpitā śaktir vyāsas tasmād ahaṃ mune
ពីភារគវៈ កើតមាន ឫក្សៈ; ពីគាត់នោះ កើតមានមុនីល្បីឈ្មោះ វាល្មីគិ។ ពីវាល្មីគិ កើតមានឪពុករបស់យើង គឺ សក្តិ; ពីសក្តិ កើតមាន វ្យាស; ហើយពីវ្យាស ឱ មុនី ខ្ញុំបានកើត។
