FAQs

It preserves a ritual-ascetic imagery associated with kapāla motifs and the handling of bodily remnants, relevant to the study of Purāṇic material symbolism.

The verse says “there” (tatra) without naming a new location; it continues from the prior reference to Māhendra.

The narrative emphasizes deliberate, regulated conduct (vrata-like discipline) rather than impulsive action, even in symbolic acts.
