अगस्त्य उवाच । विष्णुशर्मेति विख्यातः पुराभूद्ब्राह्मणोत्तमः । वेदवेदांगतत्त्वज्ञो धर्मकर्मसमाश्रितः
agastya uvāca | viṣṇuśarmeti vikhyātaḥ purābhūdbrāhmaṇottamaḥ | vedavedāṃgatattvajño dharmakarmasamāśritaḥ
អគស្ត្យបានមានពាក្យថា៖ កាលពីបុរាណ មានព្រាហ្មណ៍ឧត្តមម្នាក់ ល្បីឈ្មោះថា វិṣṇuśarman។ គាត់ជាអ្នកដឹងច្បាស់នូវសច្ចធម៌នៃវេដ និងវេដាង្គ ហើយបានតាំងខ្លួននៅក្នុងធម៌កិច្ច និងការប្រព្រឹត្តបរិសុទ្ធ។
