चंडोवाच । उग्रात्प्रतिग्रहाद्यस्माद्बिभ्यत्येते महेश्वराः । बलीयांसो दुर्बलवत्तथा चैव बिभेम्यहम्
caṃḍovāca | ugrātpratigrahādyasmādbibhyatyete maheśvarāḥ | balīyāṃso durbalavattathā caiva bibhemyaham
ចណ្ឌាបាននិយាយថា៖ «ដោយសារការទទួលទានទានយ៉ាងកាចសាហាវ (មិនសមគួរ) នេះ សូម្បីអ្នកបម្រើដ៏ខ្លាំងក្លារបស់ព្រះមហេស្វរ ក៏ភ័យផងដែរ។ ទោះមានអំណាច ក៏ញ័រដូចអ្នកទន់ខ្សោយ—ដូច្នោះខ្ញុំក៏ភ័យដែរ»។
