Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Cosmic Event: kalpa-cycle recurrence (udayād-udayam)
It establishes Shiva as Pūrṇa Brahman—unchanging, beyond growth and decline—while the cosmos and its functions recur in cycles under His supreme lordship (Pati-tattva).
Though Shiva is described as changeless Brahman (nirguṇa in essence), devotees approach Him through saguna forms like the Śiva-liṅga, recognizing the same Supreme who empowers Brahmā and all cosmic activity.
Contemplate Shiva as the immutable Pati while repeating the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), using the liṅga as a steady support for meditation on the changeless Reality behind recurring creation.
