लिंगेप्रसूतिकर्तारं लिंगिनं पुरुषो यजेत् । लिंगार्थगमकं चिह्नं लिंगमित्यभिधीयते

liṃgeprasūtikartāraṃ liṃginaṃ puruṣo yajet | liṃgārthagamakaṃ cihnaṃ liṃgamityabhidhīyate

មនុស្សគួរបូជាព្រះលិង្គី—ព្រះសិវៈ ព្រះអម្ចាស់ស្ថិតនៅក្នុង ដែលជាមូលហេតុនៃការបង្ហាញ (ប្រសូតិ) នៃលិង្គ។ សញ្ញាដែលធ្វើឲ្យអត្ថន័យនៃលិង្គត្រូវបានដឹង នោះហៅថា «លិង្គ»។
