मेनावरलाभवर्णनम् — Description of Menā’s Attainment of Boons
and the worship leading to Umā’s advent
ब्रह्मोवाच । विप्रवर्य सुतश्रेष्ठ शृणु तच्चरितं महत् । प्रणम्य शंकरं भक्त्या वच्मि भक्तिविवर्द्धनम्
brahmovāca | vipravarya sutaśreṣṭha śṛṇu taccaritaṃ mahat | praṇamya śaṃkaraṃ bhaktyā vacmi bhaktivivarddhanam
ព្រះព្រហ្មាបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ ព្រាហ្មណ៍ដ៏ឧត្តម ឱ កូនប្រុសដ៏ល្អឥតខ្ចោះ សូមស្តាប់ចរិតដ៏អស្ចារ្យនោះ។ ខ្ញុំបានកោតគោរពបូជាចំពោះ ព្រះសង្ករ ដោយភក្តី ហើយនឹងពោលអំពីអ្វីដែលបង្កើនភក្តី (ភក្តិ)»។
