Parvati
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: teaching
Cosmic Event: yuga-cycle (Satya and subsequent yugas)
It teaches that Shiva (Pati) is eternally the same Reality, yet devotees experience His presence differently across the yugas according to dharma and spiritual capacity—ranging from all-pervasive realization to more limited, form-based recognition.
When direct all-pervasive realization is difficult (especially in later yugas), Saguna worship—such as reverence to the Shiva-Linga—becomes a compassionate means to approach the same all-pervading Shiva through a sanctified form.
Adopt yuga-appropriate Shiva-sadhana: in Kali-yuga especially, steady japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with devotion, supported by simple Linga-puja and remembrance of Shiva’s omnipresence.
