Mantra 1
अभ्रातृव्यो अना त्वमनापिरिन्द्र जनुषा सनादसि युधेदापित्वमिच्छसे
Thou art without a rival, unharmed, unassailable, O Indra; from birth thou art so from of old: even now thou desirest battle.
Mantra 2
न की रेवन्तं सख्याय विन्दसे पीयन्ति ते सुराश्वः यदा कृणोषि नदनुं समूहस्यादित्पितेव हूयसे
None findeth a wealthy (friend) for friendship (like thee); thy good-horsed (attendants) drink (the Soma) for thee: when thou makest the roaring (power) and gatherest it together, then art thou invoked, like a father.
Mantra 3
स न इन्द्रः शिवः सखाश्वावद्गोमद्यवमत् उरुधारेव दोहते
May that Indra, our auspicious friend, rich in horses, rich in cattle, rich in barley, yield to us his gifts, as a cow of ample stream is milked.
