ब्रह्मोवाच । शृणु देव जगन्नाथ यस्मादस्माकमागतम् । कथयामि सुरश्रेष्ठ तदहं लोकभावन

ព្រះព្រហ្មមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះទេវៈ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់នៃសកលលោក សូមស្តាប់—មូលហេតុដែលពួកយើងបានមក ខ្ញុំនឹងប្រាប់។ ឱ អ្នកប្រសើរបំផុតក្នុងចំណោមសុរៈ ឱ អ្នកចិញ្ចឹមលោក ខ្ញុំនឹងរៀបរាប់ជូនព្រះអង្គ»។
