Narada (in dialogue context of Narada Purana teachings; exhortation regarding Hari-vāsara observance)
Vrata: Harivāsara observance (often associated with Ekādaśī/Dvādaśī cycles; here only 'Harivāsara' explicit)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It prioritizes devotion to Hari over mere austerity, teaching that the sacred timing of Hari-vāsara should be honored in the proper devotional manner rather than through misguided fasting.
Bhakti is shown as attentive obedience to Vishnu-centered observance: pleasing the Lord is not only about self-denial, but about following the right vrata-dharma connected to Hari’s day.
It reflects Kalpa (ritual procedure) in practice—correct rules of vrata and timing (tithi/holy day discipline) for Hari-vāsara/Ekādaśī-related conduct.
