लौकिकेन प्रमाणेन निष्पाद्याब्दं तु मानुषम् तेनापीह प्रसंख्याय वक्ष्यामि तु चतुर्युगम् निमेषतुल्यकालानि मात्रालब्धेक्षराणि च //

Transliteration

laukikena pramāṇena niṣpādyābdaṃ tu mānuṣam tenāpīha prasaṃkhyāya vakṣyāmi tu caturyugam nimeṣatulyakālāni mātrālabdhekṣarāṇi ca //

Translation

ជាមុនសិន ដោយប្រើមាត្រដ្ឋានទូទៅរបស់លោកិយ ខ្ញុំនឹងកំណត់ «ឆ្នាំមនុស្ស» ឲ្យបានច្បាស់; បន្ទាប់មក ដោយយកការរាប់ពីនោះ ខ្ញុំនឹងពន្យល់អំពីចតុរយុគៈ—រួមទាំងឯកតាពេលវេលាដែលស្មើនឹងនិមេសៈ និងអក្សរព្យាង្គដែលទទួលបានដោយរាប់មាត្រា (mātrā)»។
