अहो कष्टं नरेन्द्रस्य कस्याप्येष कुले शिशुः ।
जातो नीतः कृतान्तेन कामप्याशां दुरात्मना ॥
aho kaṣṭaṃ narendrasya kasyāpy eṣa kule śiśuḥ | jāto nītaḥ kṛtāntena kām apy āśāṃ durātmanā ||
អូយ! នេះជាការឈឺចាប់យ៉ាងខ្លាំងសម្រាប់ស្តេចមួយរូប—កុមារនេះ កើតក្នុងវង្សរាជ្យណាមួយ ត្រូវក្រឹតាន្ត (មរណៈ) អ្នកសាហាវ យកទៅជាមួយនឹងក្តីសង្ឃឹម (នៃជីវិត) មួយចំនួន។
