Adhyaya 50 — Mind-Born Progeny, Svayambhuva Manu’s Lineage, and Brahmā’s Ordinance to Duḥsaha (Alakṣmī’s Retinue)
यन्नाम्बुपूर्वकं क्षिप्तमनर्थोकृतमेव च ।
त्यक्तुमाविष्कृतं यत् तु दत्तं चैवातिविस्मयात् ॥
yan nāmbu-pūrvakaṃ kṣiptam anartho-kṛtam eva ca |
tyaktum āviṣkṛtaṃ yat tu dattaṃ caivāti-vismayāt ||
«ហើយអ្វីណាដែលបានបោះចោល ដោយមិនបានឧទ្ទិសទឹកជាមុន; អ្វីណាដែលបានធ្វើដោយឥតប្រយោជន៍ និងគ្មានគោលបំណង; អ្វីណាដែលបង្ហាញឡើងតែដើម្បីបោះបង់ចោល; និងអ្វីណាដែលបានឧទ្ទិសដោយការភ្ញាក់ផ្អើល ឬដោយចិត្តរហ័សរាន់លើសកម្រិត—(អ្វីទាំងនោះផង ខ្ញុំប្រគល់ឲ្យអ្នក)»។
