अतपथग्राहिणश्चैव ते ’ज्ञाने ज्ञानमानिनः ।
अहङ्कृता अहंमाना अष्टाविंशद्विधात्मकाः ॥
atpathagrāhiṇaś caiva te 'jñāne jñānamāninaḥ /
ahaṅkṛtā ahaṃmānā aṣṭāviṃśadvidhātmakāḥ ||
ពួកវាចាប់យកអ្វីដែលមិនមែនជាមាគ៌ា ហើយក្នុងអវិជ្ជា ពួកវាស្រមៃថាខ្លួនជាអ្នកដឹង។ ពួកវាត្រូវបានបង្កើតដោយអហង្គារ (អត្តសញ្ញាណខ្លួន) និងមោទនភាពខ្លួនឯង មានរចនាសម្ព័ន្ធ២៨ប្រភេទ។
