Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 25: Kaurava Deliberation and the Search Directive (अन्वेषण-आदेशः)

सर्वथा विप्रणष्टास्ते नमस्ते भरतर्षभ । नहि विद्यो गति तेषां वासं वापि महात्मनाम्‌

sarvathā vipraṇaṣṭās te namas te bharatarṣabha | nahi vidyo gatis teṣāṁ vāsaṁ vāpi mahātmanām | pravṛttiṁ vā kṛtaṁ karma prajāpālaka pārthiva | tataḥ paraṁ kim asmākaṁ ājñāpayitum arhasi ||

វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «ដោយគ្រប់យ៉ាង ពួកគេបានបាត់បង់ពីភ្នែកយើង។ សូមគោរពជូនព្រះអង្គ ឱ អ្នកល្អឥតខ្ចោះក្នុងវង្សភារតៈ! យើងមិនអាចដឹងអ្វីសោះអំពីផ្លូវដែលមហាត្មា​បណ្ឌវៈបានទៅ កន្លែងស្នាក់នៅ ការធ្វើដំណើរ ឬសកម្មភាពដែលពួកគេបានប្រព្រឹត្ត។ ឱ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ អ្នកអភិបាលប្រជា! ឥឡូវនេះ ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបញ្ជាអ្វីសម្រាប់យើង?»
