वीरौ परमसंहृष्टावन्‍्योन्यजयकाड्क्षिणौ | आसीत्‌ सुभीम: सम्पातो वज्रपर्वतयोरिव

vaiśampāyana uvāca | vīrau paramasaṁhṛṣṭāv anyonyajayakāṅkṣiṇau | āsīt subhīmaḥ sampāto vajraparvatayor iva ||

វៃសម្បាយនៈបានមានពាក្យថា៖ វីរបុរសទាំងពីរ សប្បាយរីករាយ និងម្នាក់ៗប្រាថ្នាចង់ឈ្នះម្នាក់ទៀត បានបុកចូលគ្នាដោយការរត់ប្រញាប់ដ៏គួរឱ្យភ័យខ្លាច—ដូចការប៉ះទង្គិចរវាងវជ្រៈ និងភ្នំ។ ខគម្ពីរនេះបង្ហាញពីភាពស្រវឹងនៃជ័យជម្នះក្នុងសង្គ្រាម ខណៈដែលបញ្ចេញសញ្ញាអំពីផលវិបាកធ្ងន់ធ្ងរ ពេលសមត្ថភាពត្រូវបានជំរុញដោយតែបំណងចង់គាបសង្កត់។
