तानब्रुवन् महात्मान: स्थिता: प्राजजलयस्तदा । अभ्यनुज्ञापयिष्यन्तस्तं निवासं धृतव्रता:
vaiśampāyana uvāca | tān abruvan mahātmānaḥ sthitāḥ prāñjalayas tadā | abhyanujñāpayiṣyantas taṃ nivāsaṃ dhṛtavratāḥ ||
វៃសម្បាយនៈបានមានពាក្យថា៖ បន្ទាប់មក បុរសមហាត្មាទាំងនោះ ដែលមាំមួនក្នុងវ្រត និងមានចិត្តសុចរិត បានឈរដោយដាក់ដៃប្រណម្យ ហើយនិយាយ—ដើម្បីសុំការអនុញ្ញាតអំពីទីលំនៅដែលគេគ្រោងនឹងទៅស្នាក់នៅ គឺការរស់នៅលាក់ខ្លួនក្នុងឆ្នាំចុងក្រោយ។ ទិដ្ឋភាពនោះបង្ហាញពីវិន័យ ការតាំងចិត្ត និងការគោរពចំពោះការអនុម័តត្រឹមត្រូវ មុនចូលទៅក្នុងដំណាក់កាលរស់នៅដោយលាក់ឈ្មោះ។
