अनुक्त्वा च पिबन प्रश्नान् पीत्वैव न भविष्यसि । यक्ष बोला--पार्थ! इस प्रकार प्राणियोंपर आघात करनेसे क्या लाभ? पहले मेरे प्रश्नोंका उत्तर दो
anuktvā ca piban praśnān pītvāiva na bhaviṣyasi |
យក្សបាននិយាយថា៖ «បើអ្នកផឹកទឹកដោយមិនឆ្លើយសំណួររបស់ខ្ញុំជាមុន នោះអ្នកនឹងមិនរស់បន្ទាប់ពីផឹកទេ។ ឱ បារថ! ការវាយប្រហារលើសត្វមានជីវិតបែបនេះ មានប្រយោជន៍អ្វី? ចូរឆ្លើយសំណួររបស់ខ្ញុំជាមុន សិនហើយទើបផឹកទឹក។ បើអ្នកផឹកទឹកទីនេះដោយមិនឆ្លើយ នោះពេលផឹកហើយ អ្នកនឹងស្លាប់ភ្លាម»។
